  • Immunoglobulin E (IgE)-mediated allergic disease and immunologic cell receptors
  • Investigating how the immunity that causes asthma may be regulated by molecules from the nervous system. One of seven senior investigator awards for asthma research. Funded 2011-2013 by the American Asthma Foundation, at $250,000 a year. The application involves novel studies probing the role of the metalloprotease ADAM10 in asthma.
  • Regulation of the IgE response. Work performed in the senior author’s laboratory was supported by National Institutes of Health grants R01AI18697 and U19AI077435, project 2. Senior author, principal investigator
